As a key member of our IT team, you will work closely with colleagues in order to provide them with timely, accurate data to facilitate intelligent decision making within the business. Other tasks include creation and maintenance of customer integration connections (EDI); delivering development solutions to enhance our ERP system (Odoo) via Python; maintenance of ERP data records via postgreSQL; investigation, diagnosis and resolution of issues relating to Desktop, Server and Network devices; setup and maintenance of system user accounts, ERP support and technical support.

This is a hybrid role which includes working from home for 2 days a week and attending the office in Aztec West, Bristol, for 3 days a week.


Main duties

  • Creation of new reports via postgreSQL/Excel

  • Ensuring the integrity of all system and reporting data

  • Maintenance and further development of our software services for colleagues and customers

  • Resolving Helpdesk support calls

  • Driving innovation with exciting ideas through new software/supplier solutions



Required - good knowledge of:

  • Creation of Excel reports using SQL or PostgreSQL

  • Programming with Python

  • Windows desktop support/setup

  • Microsoft Office Suite, in particular advanced use of Excel 

Desirable - experience of:

  • Dashboard and KPI development 

  • Web application development

  • Understanding of networking and Windows Servers

Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE
